Pipeline Signs & Graphics — Sales Order Terms and Conditions

Pipeline Signs may communicate through writers but they cannot change these terms or agree to a single-contributed party agreement unless they are in writing signed by Pipeline’s authorized agent. The agreement supersedes any other agreements provided by both of us.

• All estimates are valid for thirty (30) calendar days from issue unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
• Pricing will be based on material, labor, transportation and permit charges at the time of quotation.
• Full payment is required at the time of order for orders of less than $1,000 and survey services.
• All other orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit before any design or fabrication.
• The final payment must be made on completion, delivery, or installation, whichever comes first.
• Full prepayment is required for rush orders.
• If the Client has not been approved by the 60 days after the estimate has been issued, Pipeline Signs has the right to mark-up pricing.

Title and Ownership:
All materials, signage, and products remain the property of Pipeline Signs until full payment is received and cleared. Pipeline Signs retains the right to repossess or remove unpaid signage.

• A 50% deposit is required to initiate design and production unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Final balance is due upon delivery or installation completion.
• For projects requiring municipal permits, payment structure is as follows:
  • Step 1: Permit fees plus 60% deposit to begin permitting process
  • Step 2: One-third of remaining balance due upon permit approval
  • Step 3: Final balance due upon installation completion

Accepted Payment Methods:
Major credit cards, ACH transfers, checks, and approved corporate purchase orders.

Late Payments:
Unpaid balances beyond the due date will accrue a finance charge of 1.5% per month, or the maximum rate allowed by law. Pipeline Signs retains ownership and repossession rights until full payment is received.

Credit Verification:
Client authorizes Pipeline Signs to verify creditworthiness and obtain trade references as necessary.

• All artwork, proofs, and layouts must be approved in writing by the Client before production begins.
• Client approval constitutes full authorization to proceed, and Pipeline Signs bears no responsibility for errors or inaccuracies that were approved by the Client.
• Basic design assistance is included; however, extensive revisions, complex redesigns, or work with low-quality files may incur additional fees.
• Cancellation after design work begins: All design fees become immediately due and payable.
• All designs, concepts, artwork, and proofs remain the intellectual property of Pipeline Signs unless a separate written transfer of rights is executed.

• Production shall only commence upon written approval, deposit and any required permits.
• Standard non-illuminated signs: 10 – 15 business days minimum.
• Illuminated or electrical signs: takes approximately 15 to 20 business days.
• Lead times are estimates and may differ for reasons including availability of materials, supply chain issues, vendor scheduling or municipal delays.
• Pipeline Signs is not liable for any delays caused by permitting authorities, freight carriers, weather events or acts outside our control.

• Responsibility for obtaining all necessary permits, landlord permission, HOA permission, and municipal permission will be upon Client unless contracted otherwise.
• For a reasonable fee, Pipe Line Signs can help with permitting. Permit fees cannot be refunded.
• Pipeline Signs is not responsible for delays, denials or cancellations of the project due to permit issue or missing approval or regulatory issue.

• The Client must ensure the installation site is safe and accessible and adequately supports the installation.
• Installation quotes are based on normal site conditions with access and mounting solutions without hidden issues.
• Additional charges may apply If any unforeseen condition such as buried utility locations, inability to gain site access, poor ground conditions, or hidden structural conditions occurs another charge will be applicable.
• Roof and wall-mounted installations Installing on walls and roofs may involve drill or penetrations Pipeline Signs cannot guarantee against leaks or structural failure arising from existing conditions.
• Signage removal Taking out signage can leave behind holes or discolors. Pipeline Signs takes no responsibility for such results. If it is crucial to keep the surface intact, the Client must request alternative mounting methods.

• All illuminated signage requires a dedicated electrical circuit installed by a licensed electrician engaged by the Client.
• Pipeline Signs will perform final electrical connections only if the junction box is within five (5) feet of the sign location and safely accessible.
• Electrical feeds, timers, photocells, disconnect switches, and control wiring are excluded unless specifically quoted and agreed upon in writing.

• The Client grants Pipeline Signs and its subcontractors access to the property, including lawns, driveways, sidewalks, and parking areas, for delivery and installation purposes.
• Pipeline Signs is not responsible for normal wear, tire tracks, or incidental surface marks resulting from standard equipment use.
• Surface restoration following installation is the Client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Manufacturer Warranties:

Component warranties are provided by manufacturers and typically cover ninety (90) days for electrical parts.

Warranty Exclusions:

• Injury caused by the weather, vandalism, accident, abuse or by a third party.
• Installation of signs on unfit or structurally compromised surface.
• Banners and temporary signage are short-term products.
• Shadings, textures, and other natural material properties.
• Projects where Pipeline Signs’ advice was neglected.

• Pre-proof cancellations: Subject to a 10% processing fee
• Post-proof or post-fabrication cancellations: All deposits are non-refundable
• After production or installation: No refunds will be issued
• Design fees remain due in full for any canceled project where design work has been completed
• No changes are permitted after proof approval

• All materials, designs, and finished products remain the property of Pipeline Signs until full payment is received and cleared.
• The Client grants Pipeline Signs permission to access the property for repossession of any unpaid signage.
• Pipeline Signs reserves the right to use completed projects, photographs, and renderings in marketing materials, portfolio displays, website content, and promotional media unless the Client expressly revokes such permission in writing prior to project completion.

• Real estate disputes or unlawful installation
• Issues regarding agreements, restrictions, or covenants were unknown to Pipeline Signs.
• Concerns expressed by landlords, HOAs, municipalities or other parties about location/design

Pipeline Signs’ attorney’s fees, court costs and other expenses made necessary by the claim will also be covered.

Excluded Damages:

Pipeline Signs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue
• Business interruption
• Lost opportunities or goodwill

The Client expressly waives any right to claim such damages.

• Natural disaster which is beyond human control.
• Disaster Arising From Nature
• Walkouts or lack of workers.
• Public safety threat to the general public.
• Delays in supply chain or raw material.
• Statutory prohibition or declaration.
• Holds in transportation or failure of an intermediary.
• Loss of electric power or infrastructure.
